This bump it up wall really shows me how to think about procedural writing. I can look at my own writing and decide where it fits in the range of 2-4.
If it lists the materials but doesn’t give many details, I know it is a “2.” But just adding details may only move it to a “3″ if it is not specific enough. A “4″ means that I can follow the directions and it will look like a snowman made by another person.
I can’t wait to start talking about a “bump it up” wall! Thanks so much for your clear presentation that will help me do that!
This is a great bump it up wall. I like the procedure from the person that wrote a lot because this person really showed them where to put the things.
